Araujo, at just 22 years old, never got the chance to make a competitive appearance for Barcelona after joining from LA Galaxy in 2023. Instead, he spent last season on loan at Las Palmas, showcasing his potential and talent.
New Barcelona coach, Hansi Flick, gave Araujo a shot during preseason, including him in the lineup for a match against Manchester City in Orlando.
