Real Madrid Star Kylian Mbappé To Miss Preseason Tour of the United States

Real Madrid’s highly anticipated preseason tour of the United States will be missing some key players, including star forward Kylian Mbappé. Mbappé, who recently captained France to the semifinals of Euro 2024, is currently on holiday and will not be participating in the friendlies against AC Milan, Barcelona, and Chelsea.

In addition to Mbappé, Real Madrid will also be without the services of Jude Bellingham and Dani Carvajal. Both players featured in the Euro 2024 final with England and Spain, respectively, and are currently on holiday as well.

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has decided to include Brazil teenage forward Endrick in his 26-man roster for the preseason tour. Endrick recently made a permanent transfer to Madrid from Palmeiras after turning 18. Joining Endrick in the squad are his Brazil teammates Vinícius Júnior and Rodrygo Goes, although they are expected to join the team at a later date.

Ancelotti has also taken the opportunity to include 12 youth players in the traveling squad for the preseason tour. This move showcases Real Madrid’s commitment to developing young talent and giving them the chance to gain experience alongside established stars.

While Mbappé may be missing from the preseason tour, fans can expect to see him in action for Real Madrid soon. It is anticipated that Mbappé will join the team right after the U.S. tour and make his debut against Atalanta in the European Super Cup on August 14. The French forward recently signed with Madrid as a free agent following the expiry of his contract with Paris Saint-Germain.

Real Madrid’s preseason tour will feature matches against top European clubs such as AC Milan, Barcelona, and Chelsea. The tour kicks off with a match against AC Milan at Soldier Field in Chicago on July 31, followed by the highly anticipated Clasico against Barcelona on August 3 at Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The tour concludes with a final match against Chelsea on August 6 at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina.
