Loan moves will only be facilitated for younger players in need of senior experience. The report suggests that 19-year-old Andrey Santos could be a candidate for such a loan move, as he may be recalled from Nottingham Forest and sent out on loan again, having made only two appearances for Forest. Chelsea’s decision is influenced by their already reached maximum threshold for players out on international loans. Loaning out Madueke domestically would further complicate matters for the club. However, Chelsea could be active in the January transfer market to strengthen their squad, as they currently sit 10th in the Premier League table.
